Deya Danielle Drake



Deya is a NYC based writer/actor.  Her play Escape made its world premiere in October 2018 at the New York International Fringe Festival.  Her films, as a writer/producer, have screened at Palm Springs International Shortfest, The Vault Film Festival, SXSW, and the Marfa Film Festival.

Acting credits on stage: Ultraviolence (Eris Evolution), Kelly 1955 (Hudson Guild Theater) Escape (FringeNYC), Romeo and Juliet (Theatre @ Boston Court), Finding the Flame (Malibu Stage Company), The Marriage Bed (14th Street Studio Theater), Unmasked (workshop), Mocha (Horse Trade Theater). In TV/Film: The Good Fight (CBS All Access), Royal Pains (USA), Fully Engaged (ITVFest, Brooklyn Web Fest, NY Web Fest, HollyWeb Fest, Miami Web Fest), and the upcoming indie films Iris and These Honored Dead.

She studied Philosophy at The University of California, Berkeley and trained in NY at Kimball Studio, Scott Freeman Studio, and others.
