Deya Danielle Drake



Deya is an actor/writer/producer born in Carson City, Nevada. She currently calls NYC home.  Her plays have been produced/read/developed at The Barrow Group, Primary Stages and The New York International Fringe Festival. Her play Escape (Austin Film Festival Playwriting Competition - Second Round) premiered at The Bank Street Theater in New York in 2018. Her films, as a writer/producer, have screened at Palm Springs International Shortfest, The Vault Film Festival, SXSW and the Marfa Film Festival. 

 As an actor, her stage credits include: Escape (FringeNYC) Romeo and Juliet(Theatre @ Boston Court), Finding the Flame(Malibu Stage Company), Kelly 1955(Hudson Guild), Ultraviolence(Eris Evolution), Mocha (Horse Trade Theater) and Unmasked (workshop). TV/Film: The Good Fight (CBS All Access), Royal Pains(USA), Fully Engaged (ITVFest, Brooklyn Web Fest, NY Web Fest, HollyWeb Fest, Miami Web Fest), Without Grace(HollyShorts, Soho International Film Festival). 

She studied Philosophy at The University of California, Berkeley and trained in NY at Kimball Studio, Scott Freeman Studio, and others.
